R YACHT was founded as the new cruise venture of the Ryobi Group, headquartered in Okayama Prefecture. Our wish is a simple one: to share the beauty of Japan’s seas—beginning with the calm, island-studded waters of Setouchi—with more of the world, and to offer that beauty in a form Japan has never known: the country’s first yacht-style cruise.

SEFU is scheduled for completion in 2027. Being a small ship, she can call at the islands of Setouchi and the Nansei Islands, trace beautiful coastlines throughout Japan and neighboring countries, and enter small harbors that larger vessels cannot reach.

She will also be the first newly built ship in Japan with a marina at her stern—enabling novel experiences for cruising: marine activities from the water’s edge, and landings on remote islands by marina boat.

And because her suites are few, we can offer service that is genuinely personal, and cuisine generous with local ingredients—experiences found only aboard SEFU.
