SE is for the Seto Inland Sea; FU is the Japanese word for wind.
The name carries a feeling for wind itself—sometimes a gentle companion, sometimes the force that carries people forward.

Gwenael Nicolas
Born in France, Gwenael Nicolas leads the Tokyo-based studio Curiosity. His work spans interiors, products, and installations, marked by serene, minimal space.
Weaving light into material and form, he gives shape to a Japanese sensibility of restraint and precision. His portfolio includes boutiques for Rolex and hotel interiors for Four Seasons; his aesthetic—transparent form united with function—is internationally acclaimed.
